چکیده

This paper proposes an improved intelligent driver model (IDM) by considering the information of multiple front and rear vehicles to describe car-following behaviour CAVs (Connected autonomous vehicles). The involves velocity acceleration as well difference headway between host vehicle its surrounding vehicles. By introducing location-related parameters, quantitatively expresses change in influence degree a with location vehicle. To maximize traffic stability, we obtain optimal value parameters effect specific time delays on stability flow numerical simulation. results indicate that for single control, proposed provides much quicker smoother deceleration process desired speed than IDM multi-front IDM. And fleet is superior other two models decreasing starting braking increasing acceleration. With effective it helpful improve operation efficiency enhance flow. In addition can be utilized control case CAVs’ homogeneous also serve tool simulate behaviour, which beneficial road management infrastructure layout connected environments.

Integrated control of active rear differential and front wheel steering in rear wheel drive vehicles

Many vehicle control systems were designed and implemented in the last years to enhance performances and stability acting on front and/or rear steering actuators [1,2,3] and/or individual wheel braking [8]; the development of electroactuated differentials allows to transfer torque between wheels from the faster to the slower one in semiactive differentials [11,12,13,14] and in both directions i...

Integrated Active Front Steering and Semiactive Rear Differential Control in Rear Wheel Drive Vehicles

Abstract: Many vehicle control systems are based on the yaw rate error to help the driver during oversteer and understeer conditions. The control systems usually operate on brake pressures distributions such as ESP and/or on active front and rear steering control. Recently many papers are focused on the design of integrated global chassis control systems. The main contribution of this paper is ...

Parameters Design and Economy Study of an Electric Vehicle with Powertrain Systems in Front and Rear Axle

To achieve higher economy of the original driving scheme with single motor and settled gear ratio, new configurations with different powertrain systems in front and rear axle were designed. Firstly, according to the power and torque required by a micro electric vehicle (mEV) in various drive cycles, the parameters of a small and high power motor were determined. Secondly, for schemeⅠwith dual m...
